Thread: Question!?

    Default Question!?

Hey guys, I know this is going to seem strange, but I need to find out who may be able to tie two dozen presentation salmon flies. I have a customer in the shop as we speak that builds custom shadow boxes and one of his customers has asked him to put this together.
    Lemme know, please!

    Cool One of our writers?

How about Eric Austin? He ties wonderful flies and writes the Old Flies section on FAOL? You can see flies and reach him here: traditionalflies.com

Eric would be my choice. I have a few of his traditional wets and Bergman could not have tied them better. They are in a shadow box as well.

Howdy Flats, have a box of Ray Bergman, Nyack NY 2X long, 2X strong dry fly loop eyed salmon hooks size #2 if you end up tying them yourself. Tried a few & just never got the feel for marrying the wings without laquer !
