    Thumbs up Norcal in October

Took my annual trip to Norcal and i must say, it was phenomenal !!! Hit up the : Upper Sac, Trinity, Fall, Pit, Carson and Walker rivers. Beautiful weather and fish everywhere too.

There's a taste for you all.

Thanks George. How was jury duty? Wish you could have been there.

George, thanks for the report. Nice fish and beautiful country. All rivers I'd like to fish someday. Sidenote: What camera are you using for those underwater shots?

    Default Curious, George?

    Kelly,
George is Montanamoose. I'm a Rich Crook (really!)

Thank you for the comments. The camera is an Olympus stylus tough- 6000. You are witness to my first underwater pics. I had an early model olympus that was waterproof but didn't take underwater shots. I managed to break it while battling a King salmon last summer and replaced it with the 6000. I like it very much so far.

There are a few more if you are interested. It's a bit hit and miss so far since you can't actually see what's in the viewfinder unless your face is underwater too. It sure is neat when they turn out though.

Sorry for the mixup on names, happens to me far too often. Anyway, thanks for the info. Looking for a good WP digital for the Kid for Christmas.

    Default Jury

You're welcome Rich, well as it turned out, i sat on the phone the entire month of Oct without even having to go to orientation...low crime here i guess. Yeah, would have been great checkin' some water with you...don't forget to remind me next time you head up !

    Cheers,
