I finished my flies. I will let you know when they get mailed, hopefully in the next day or two.

Thanks, this is the fly I did for this swap. I hope everyone likes them. I added doll eyes to it, I thought it enhanced the look. Also the eyes make a slight rattling sound.

    Over achiever!

Doing mine production line style. After tying one prototype.
-Double weeds guards tied on and cemented on all hooks. check
-Leg hackle feathers matched and sorted (12 per frog-6 each leg). check
-Leg hackles trimmed, stacked, tacked together with goop, then tied on hooks. 3 down.

Compared to the legs, the hair spinning is the easy part! At least the quickest part. Good thing there's only 6 in this swap, any more, I'd have to call in to work sick a few days or else out-source part of my production.

Coughlin, I hold you responsible for this! "Come On Bass_Bug, there's a deer hair swap starting up, you should get in it!" he says.

I had to get these done now. I have lost my mind and signed up for four more swaps, I have to get HOT on this stuff. I cannot wait to see these flies. The small size of the swap is what made me join up.

    Bass_bug,
Melbecs are dry. They're the signature wines of Argentinia. Lots of deep chocolate berry tones. It's become my favorite red.
