Question What's happened to the salt?

What's happened to all of the activity on the salt board? Been too quiet over the past several days.

Where have all the pirates gone?

Looks like the salt board and the rod building board have both been trashed. Maybe too much commercial traffic. It's a shame, they were my to favorite boards.

For some reason every time I check the salt board the date for the threads its showing is set to today. Other forums are showing fine, but I have to switch to show the last month to see all the other topics in the salt. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else is having the same thing.

Edited to add: same thing with the rod building forum. The drop down menu under the topics thing gets set to today instead of showing the last weeks or months threads like the other forums do and like they used to. Guessing it has to do with the no commercial advertising changes

Not sure what's going on but I don't get the threads/post in chronological order anymore. Just now I logged in to see the latest post about 6 or 7 threads down.

This is the order I got them in.

    Beach Fishing ...........................09-18-2009
    Best Value Reel ........................09-26-2009
Boca Grande onthe fly 9/16 ........09-19-2009
    Kayak .....................................09-16-2009
    Mosquito Lagoon Guide? ............09-18-2009
    Nasty day is good .....................09-18-2009
What's happened to the salt? .....Today

Any help from the moderators that be??

Thanks, I was having the same issue with both this board and the rod building board. I thought they may have dumped the boards due to all of the commercial traffic that has been showing up lately.
