"For me, life is very good. I am grateful and blessed.
Thank God." Quote from Ladyfisher 9/1/09
The only thing to add ... AMEN!
and you are very, very loved!
Thank you.
Trouts don't live in ugly places.
A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.
Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.
While reading Deanna's article about how FAOL came about, and how she had a role model to pattern FAOL after, I for some strange reason started humming a tune. A tune from the Broadway Show "South Pacific"!
"Happy talking talking, happy talk. talk about things you like to do.
You got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how going to have your dream come true!"
It is good that Deanna had a dream, and others also had the same dream (or if they did not they do so now!), joining in to make this the best fly fishing site on the Internet. FAOL has reached out to everyone, all over the world. FAOL was a (is, and hopefully always will be) concept so "Outside the Box", that it has been here for 12 years now! And in the future will pass through others hands to continue, long after we are all gone..
Thank You Deanna, for sharing your dream, with so many strangers, who are now friends. ~Parnelli (Chartered Member of "Friends of FAOL)
PS: I have had the plesure of learning so much from being part of FAOL, since October of 1997. I had the opportunity to attend 4 FAOL Fish-In's;Black Hills in South Dakota, Delware River at Starlight Pennsylvaina/Hancock New York, Texas Fish -In at Sattler Texas, and Idaho Fish-In at Lowell Idaho. Wish I could have attended more, but happy that I attended those.
PPS: I am on the front page photo, I am the one wearing the Stetson!

Thank you so much for developing the site.
Even more thanks for the warmwater part.

Oh My Gawd... HAHAHA...!!!
Let's not talk about gray hair shall we... It's funny that your e-mag started the year I began to experiment with writing. I've only become real serious about it in the last three or four years in fact, but I've been around through each of FAOL's changes (each for the better I must say) and have always enjoyed dropping in. It sure doesn't seem like that long though.
Wow... and now I submit an article from time to time! How exciting.
