I buy my thread, but if you explain how to tie it I'll give it a try...

I deleted it. Sorry, but I cannot seem to phrase my questions correctly and I seem to keep starting long drawn out threads that are already coverred elsewhere according to some of the replies in my earlier posts. In the futre I'll try to ask only questions that have never been discussed before. I guess that will be kind of hard, but heaven forbid I actually ask a redundant question

Ask whatever you wish and don't worry about whether or not it's been asked before. Winter is setting in and allot of folks are getting the shak nasties. Except myself of course. I act this way all the time.

I tie some of my own flies. If it is an easy pattern and one that I use on a regular basis. I buy most of my trout flies and deer hair bass bugs. I doubt it very much if I have saved any money by tying my own.

Don't let that bother you, always a newbie scanning the boards that never has asked the same question and is wondering, sometimes we ask questions not for ourselves but to hear what others have to say. Better than me, you are sir, I usually ask the same questions each year, Favourite fly?, Best day fishing?
How often do you tie? All the same redundant stuff, always get answers as someone can always relate to the question. All questions are at least worthy of an answer.

    Dave,
I figured as much about the saving money point, but just wanted to start a conversation. It just seems like a few people are getting annoyed with mu rants!! Hopefully they'll live on though
