Idaho Fish-In Fly's

Can anyone/anybody post some photo's of the fly's they will be tying for the Fish-In. I'll be tying for my brother and his wife so I need to get started soon. Today would have been a good day to start as it rained all day!!

I have always had good luck fishing a black butt ant, size 22. Some days the red butt works better. This is up on the Selway.

I prefer to tie the front and back, using black mole fur. This soaks up water and makes the fly ride about 6 " deep when a heavily hackled collar of Gold or Silver hackle is used. (for the normal black ant)

I have some red dyed mole I use for the red butt. Same hackle. My preference for both is the Silver badger.
Keep it simple.
Size 22 Daiichi, 1180
mole front and back
Hackle inbetween
small thread head, cement and fish
Have fished and caught quite a few West slope cutts up 24 miles on the Selway.

I cant post a picture of it

but I fished an Elk Hair Caddis tied on a size 14 2x long dry fly hook, used hairline amber dubbing.

Were I tying it now I would used orange CDC for the body and tie a CDC and Elk.

A small October caddis I kept from a fishin is an in inch in length and they can easily go to an inch and a half.

Here is a link to a thread on some flies for last year's Idaho Fish-In. As you know, I couldn't make it last year, but the FEB October Caddis I tied was thoroughly tested by REE, who reported really good results with it, after he retied it on a longer shank hook.

Anyway, the thread has a bunch of ideas for october caddis imitations, including a couple wet flies that I tied and REE also fished with some good results.

I'm thinking about just tying a bunch of the FEB October Caddis and sticking with that one pattern. Just kidding. Will probably bring an arsenal to include some standard caddis patterns like the Harrop's Henry's Fork Caddis and maybe some LaFontaine emergent sparkle caddis. I suspect that a bunch of Partridge and Orange soft hackles in a range of sizes would get you through a few days there, if you like swinging soft hackles.
