Patience is a virtue
Went fishing yesterday - hit the water at about 9:30 and the fishing was real slow. The river was low and perfectly clear. There were quite a few fishermen on the water and no one was having much luck. By noon I had only caught 3 fish. Almost all the fishermen had left the river by then when lo and behold the fish started biting. I probably caught a dozen and a half in the next two hours. Then they began releasing water from the dam and I had to get out before the water got too high. It was a pleasant day on the river and as an added bonus I got to watch two weasels playing grabass along the bank.
