First Custom Fly Rod

Hay guys I wanted to see what eveyone here though, this is my first fly rod I have ever made. I have been tying for some time as a kid but it has been at least 8 years scince I have tried any rod.
This was a kit I got from my wife and kids for fathers day and here is what I did with it.

Nice build. Now you need to go fish it. I like the wrap colors you've chosen. Wasn't as hard as it looks was it?
