Can you tell us where you'll be staying? I assume you'll probably be staying somewhere near Cabela'ls? I'm way on the other side of KC about 45 miles from Cabela's. Maybe some of the guys on the KS side would be nearer. I don't know where to fish on that side. All the good spots I know are, not surprisingly, over here by me.

Well, apparently lots of things have changed with the waterfowl weekend. Let me figure out when I'll have off and what will work and I'll let y'all know. Would love to meet some of you guys and do some bluegillin'!

When you figure it out let me know. 15 min Cabelas 3 min Bass Pro. Good fishing all over. I will be at the calling contest just to listen. Ducks dont make sounds like that.
Alright, here's the game plan..... Gonna come up for an August 15 day trip to Cabelas/Bass Pro and get a new 5-wt.
What I don't know is where to fish at. Would someone in the area be willing to show me around one of their spots? Maybe do a late afternoon/evening trip? I'm just looking for ideas as to who wants to do what, not invite myself to someone's fishing hole. Maybe go fish for awhile, then grab a bite to eat and hang out some? PM me if you want to chat on the phone and I'll send you my number! Have 3-wt, will travel!
