Default People that can't make a decision

Every now and then we get a 'customer' that simply is incapable of making a decision. But they seem to be very willing to make the decision that the decision you made FOR them was the wrong one.

    Amazing.

    Howdy BBW...
I was once told that by not making a decision...you ARE making a decision.
If they force you to decide for them, THAT is their decision. That's how I always chose to see it when I was in business and in the shoes you describe.

    Wink Got that right.

There's a book of encyclopedic proportions that could be written, based solely on our collective experiences with this subject matter.

    BBW,
When I had the hardware store, my assistant, Bill, asked why some folks couldn't decide & kept asking him if something would work. I related it to their home/work environment & suggested they needed a "fall guy". If they screwed it up, it would be "Bill's fault". It's really sad that so many are afraid to learn through setbacks.....IMHO, genuine knowledge comes through failure, but you have to be willing to admit failure first.

I've been trying to decide if I should post on this thread or not. All of a sudden, I feel like Cal's wife made me do it !!

    Uuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmm;

Up on Cripple Creek she sends me
If I spring a leak she mends me
I don't have to speak, she defends me
A drunkards dream if I ever did see one.

We've been married for 27 years as of the day before yesterday. I haven't had to make a decision for that long.

Of course, when trying to decide on a name for the inability to make a decision, and despite all of the excellent examples of the creative use of lauguage in designating other phobias, the philosopher in charge (Walter Kauffman) could not make a decision...
    ...so he called the condition...
...(this is really true folks) DECIDOPHOBIA.

Lots of imagination went into that one....

I had a great reply to this then thought.... "Nar... " but then again, "Why not?" but then when I went to put it in I forgot what it was. So I decided to rethink something but now I just dunno. Can you delete these? Maybe I better leave it....
