Thread: Photographing fly's

  1. Default Photographing fly's

If you want a ministudio for photographing fly's nows the time. Go to http://www.1saleaday.com/ and they have a ministudio for just $14.99. Only good until midnight tonight, May 13, 09. Looks like quite a bargain for taking fly pictures and pictures of other small items.

Has anyone bought from these people in the past? I found some very bad reviews on them but I know that most people are a lot more motivate to post a review if their mad than if they are part of a majority of satisfied customers.
I can think of few acts more selfish than refusing a vaccination.

Just be aware, that studio is 8 inches along each dimension according to the website. So, you're going to have to mount the fly on something other than your vice.

i have the same set up and the dimensions should be 16 x 16 x 16 and i think its a misprint in the specs

looking at the foto theres 2 baseballs in plastic boxes. that would be getting close to 6-7 inches in height. so i still think the spec is a misprint.

    see specs here

Normand -- look carefully at the pictures of your set-up and the pictures of the one on this thread. Different set-up, different manufacturers.

Here's the manufacture's site: http://www.sakar.com/p-1339.aspx?categoryid=143 for the item above. Which means those aren't baseballs, they're marbles. The manufacturer's site has a watch in the light box which takes up much of the space.

Both the box and the spec indicate it's 8"x8". Could be a misprint. It will be interesting to see what everyone gets.

Check out the article on flytyingworld.com under "classroom". Home made with some good tips. Just another option.
