I'm not ready for the fish-in. I need to lose some weight, tie some flies and practice my spey casting. Been working too many hours lately. I need this vacation, BADLY!
    Hey, Hey - Remember me?!!!

Tomorrow would be a good time to work on a couple of these issues. There's a stream 5 minutes from here that's loaded with trout, and is big enough to get a little practice in with the long rod.

    It's TIME TO FEEEESH!!!!

As far as the bike ride goes, well, I've been neglecting getting my "legs" for that. Too many fish, so little time. Also - it's time for those boots that we discussed. Don't make me start a bonfire under your butt.......

A few more hours at the vise and I'll be READY for the Fish-In.

    Ed,

I can't fish this Sunday (well I may get in an hour or so locally). My second oldest daughter is moving out so there are things to do. Just one more to go and the nest will be empty.

Next Sunday looks good. Either fish or bike.

I'll go try those boots on locally to see what fits and we'll get them ordered. I need to be properly equipped for the Fish-in.

    Cool

Hi Gene - Next Sunday I'm going out to Central PA to help with the Team USA tryouts. You're welcome to come along, but I'm leaving at zero-dark-thirty....

Saturday is the bike flea market at the velodrome - you might want to do that with me instead - it's actually light out when I leave for that.

    Default I am a Whiner !!!

I am such a whiner !!! During the last month on any of my days off I have been taking down wallpaper and painting the entire interior and power washing the exterior and power washing the fence and the back porch and shampooing the rugs and so on and so on in anticipation of my sister selling the house she owns and I live in that I only have been able to fish for a couple hours at the most. Then with all the rain we have had the creeks are over the banks and mostly not fishable ! I wanted to bone up on my pitiful casting skills so as not to appear the total...... aaaahhhhhh ...enough whining. I am so looking forward to the fish in !!!
