    Has anybody gotten a rain jacket from Bass Pro? I have a gift card and need a rain jacket for fishing and work. Any recomendations?

    PaFly,

    BPS used to carry the Hodgeman wading jacket. I bought one about 2 years ago, and I really like it. I use it as a rain jacket pretty frequently. At that time, they were about $100. Check them out.

    I have one from Cabelas. Bass Pro has some nice ones. Just make sure it has Goretex in it or you will regret it when you get heavy rain.

    PaFly;
    I have a Hodgman "Lakestream" that came with a removable mesh vest. Works nice for those cool mornings or evenings and you can ditch the jacket when it warms up. I did give it an extra treatment of silicone waterproofing though! It was around $80.00 then.
