    I do a lot of 6X with dries. Can you say "Propellor"...

    I like these patters. I have a very difficult time tying the pattern with duck quills. This seems like the next best thing. Thanks Fred

    I really do not like the way the flies look. Sorry, but to me if there is no hackle then there is no Dry Fly.

    Not very graceful and kinda' clunky...

    But then, most of my FF is from the bottom of the water column to just under the surface...where 90% of the feeding is going on...

    Not sure why everyone feels the need to trash these flies. Looks to me like they'd be killer on still and slack water. Obviously they aren't meant to replace traditionally hackled flies... especially on fast water.

    Different flies for different conditions...
