    Talking Tennessee Fish-In II

I have it on good authority that Kaboom1 and ,hopefully, Fat Bill will be arriving in Tullahoma on, or about the 23rd of this month to chase trout on the Duck and Elk Rivers. Warrenp, rons81, Popperfly, EdD and myself will be on tap to show them a great time. (Doublewide will be up on the Watuga beating it to a froth!)

I know a spot on the Duck that should produce enough 'gills, Redears and Black Perch (Rock Bass) for a respectabe fish fry!

The menu may not be as exotic as the last one but I'm sure there will be some steaks on the BBQ!

    Schedule of Events:
Thursday afternoon - Get license and visit Jack Danial's.
Thursday evening - Fly Tying, pizza and liquid refresments.
Friday morning - Elk River fishing, Tim's Ford Dam (after a stop at Broadview Grocery for lunch supplies).
Friday Afternoon - Elk River at Ferris Creek Bridge (if the fishing is slow at the Dam).
Friday Evening - More tying and refreshments.
Saturday Morning - Visit to local bamboo/graphite rod builder's shop.
Saturday Late Morning - Duck River trout
Saturday Afternoon - Duck River to catch the fish fry
Saturday Evening - The Gods willing a fish fry!
Sunday Morning - Duck River, Courtner's Mill.
Sunday Afternoon - More of the same!!
Sunday Evening - Asian food at "Mings".

I am sure we will raise a glass or six in your honor Jim.

Jack, you are quite the planner. Did you work for a travel agency in a former life?

I can't lell you how I am looking foward to this trip...It's been a loooooong winter here in the Island Nation.

I would expect that the police escort will meet us at the Tennessee border for the escort into Tullahoma?

No, I don't think so, Brad! That's reserved to get you OUT of town!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Betty, if the police escort shows up on their way in, they might get escorted to Brushy Mountain.

Please note that the TBI now has an entrries in its database for both NBOF and Island Nation of Ohio. Remember that Joe V. and Scubatim have been to town.

When a group a hikers files past a hidden snake, it's usually the SECOND person past that gets bitten.

Ummm ... Brad? How are you in the water? Pretty nimble footed? Can you move swiftly and steadily? How 'bout if there's banjo music?
