texfly, I am just closing one, perhaps one of the people in my swap will catch the bug and host one. don't think that you can only join a newby swap, get in there and swap, the other tiers were new at this at some point if in doubt pm the host before signing up.

texfly and Skeeter41, check the swap board daily, or more often, I had the newby trout swap open for over a week and didn't fill it, had to close it so the tiers would know how many to send in.

Keep your eyes open someone will host.

If no one does one in the meantime, remind me again toward the end of April. I have 2 going at the moment and don't want to get more than that, but would be happy to help you out then.

I saw the first one, but at the time had absolutely no confidence in my ties. After catching a couple of trout with my flies, my confidence is a little higher.

If someone sees a newbie swap, please let me know. Sign me up for a size 10 March Brown Nymph.

OK, guys you talked me into it. I'm going to set up a swap, but it isn't quite what you are expecting. I'll do another Al Campbell's too simple swap. It is patterns that are really easy to tie, and are fish catchers. I'm posting the swap as soon as I finish posting this. If you guys have questions or need punch yarn, PM me and I'll get you some.

Here are some of the patterns:
