    Default Dave Hughes

I just picked up the new issue of Flyfishing & Tying Journal and saw that, because of the bad economy, Dave is no longer editing the magazine.

I'm sad. Dave is a great angler, a great writer and a great editor. He will be missed, though I look forward to reading and rereading his books.

Red face Dave has a great new book out!

I'm sorry to see Dave leave the editor position of FTJ which is my favorite fly fishing magazine. On the positive side, he does have a great new book out called Nymphs For Steams and Stillwaters. I'm planning to sit down and enjoy a chapter or two before bed. 8T

We are still honored and grateful to have them as a sponsor for the past seven years. We trust they will continue to hold the top place in the market. We have had more than one dinner with Dave; great guy and talant.

According to Frank Amato, Dave will still be writing for the mag. Looking forward to his future stuff.
