    Default Directions to Somerset, N.J.

Would like to attend the fly fishing show in Somerset this year (season). Any help with dates and directions - from the south, say Maryland? Can respond to personal address Michael_Kal@msn.com Thank you all for your help in so many ways

The dates are Jan 27-29. The show is hosted at the Doubletree hotel in Somerset. The exhibits and fly casting demos and such are at the Garden State Exhibition Center which is next door. I think the address of the hotel is 200 Atrium Drive, Somerset, NJ

Coming from Maryland I would take the New Jersey Turnpike (however you get there) to Route 287. Then take 287 West to Exit 10. Exit 10 is Somerset. I get there coming from the North, and it's real easy coming from that direction. Slightly different coming the south because exit 10 northbound and exit 10 southbound are about 1/2 mile apart (hey, it's Jersey!).

There is a web site with directions to the hotel -- [url=http://www.flyfishingshow.com/.:c638d]http://www.flyfishingshow.com/.[/url:c638d]

Bring money -- you'll find yourself wanting to buy things.

Thnx - BFB, will put it on the calendar. I admire the desire of vendors to help you stimulate the economy! Mike K.

We go every year from MD and there's typically quite a contingent. You might want to check in the week before.

I-95 N to the NJ Tpike.

Also, check out the smaller, but fun, show in College Park, MD.

Be sure to stop by the Mustad/Partridge booth and say hello. I'll be there tying flies, answering questions, telling fishing stories and handing out some samples
