Default Castwell made the 'Big Time.'

Really did. A couple of days ago, one of the worst movies ever made (in 1975 or since) was shown on the 'Western' channel. "Rancho Deluxe." What a bomb. However, it was made in Livingstone, Montana and I lived there back then so I was an extra in it. Met a lot of koolieo movie type folks. My biggest part was sitting at the bar (The Longbranch) in the earlier part of the film. If you thought it was me, you were right. I was in other sections too. Fun.

Not even Reagan was in it?

    JC,

The reviews I found doing a quick look at a Google search netted 67% - 100% approval rating for this movie. I did find a picture of a bar scene with Jeff Bridges and Sam Waterston, but the depth of field was too shallow to see clearly the folks at the bar.

    Cool I missed out

I was recovering from back surgery; so JC got to meet some neat people. Pat Noteboom ... Prostitute (uncredited) was the wife of one of the local doctors. She took some flack for doing the film part.

Yup,,, met and got to know many on a very shallow level. Some were a real 'hoot' after hours. Did spend some time with Sam, Slim and Liz tho. She was a big hit evenings at the 'Sport" bar singing. Tore the joint actually. "I just received your letter" was her favorite song.
The day after my wife's back surgery, while laying very flat on her back, she was casting a "Fly-O" from her bed, teaching her surgeon how to cast. I knew it was 'her' room as I approached, the door was open and I could see the pink yarn shooting back and forth.
Oh, the doctor she just mentioned, he was a dentist. I played four-string banjo, he played five-string and Deanna played four string guitar.

Somehow while traveling through India I ended up as an extra in a bollywood film. Had a lot of fun that day.
