partridge 15bn hook size?
Does anybody know if the 15bn hooks run approximately the same size as T2487? It seems like I ordered some hooks I didn't know about once and they were way different size than I thought they should be. In other words, would a fly tied on a 14 partridge 15bn look about like a 14 Tiemco 2487?
The 15BN sizes run very large. I have a pack of size 20 15BNs and the shanks are longer than a size 14 2487.
the partridge is designed as a klinkhammer hook and the tiemco is not. 2 different shapes, although similar. i'd say the sizes will be different.
