    Default Needy youngster

I have a buddy who wants to 'pay something back' to 'fly fishing' because it has been so good to him. He has offered to build a free fly rod for someone you recommend. He reads the BB everyday and will see what you write about the youngster/beginner that you submit. Give a short reason why your person should receive the rod. No names. No states. No exacting details.

Just tell us why he might/should qualify. My buddy will pick one and contact you by PM to make the arrangements. There is no set time limit but lets get on with this. Make this easy. Convince him why your person should get a free rod. Probably building on a Batson blank but let the person pick out colors, line weights and such.
Perhaps the son/daughter of someone you know who just can't afford things right now. A helping hand into fly fishing so to speak. We all got a started in some way, now you can play a part.

Happy to say, as of January 29th, a decision has been made and a person selected. Thank you all who responded. Sincrely...

I'd be glad to provide 2 dozen flies -- dries, nymphs, midges, soft hackles, and a couple of streamers. If this would be appropriate all I'll need is an address.

    Thanks,
    Greg

And I will donate a furled leader which should last him awhile and make life a bit easier in the learning curve.

Greg...."I will take those donated flies"! just kiddin' I have quite a few of your flies already. Love 'em. Nice of you to provide them for this cause. Probably a pretty confusing item for the first time fly fisher is what fly?...... So it's good of you to offer up a supply.
