These days my bluegill rod is my Orvis, 7'6", 5 wt. bamboo, 2/1. In years past I used my old W. W. Griggs 7' 4 wt. I'm much more of a creek rat than a lake fisherman so I don't get into the really big bluegills or other sunfish. However, once or twice a year the wife and I head for the neighbors lake where there are some good 'gills and definitely some bigger LMB, then it's my old South Bend 323 in 6 wt. That lake is where we get our "eatin' fish".

I don't, but I've been really considering their 10' 1 to 4 weight blanks. I think I recall that they are a slower action, and could really be fun for smaller trout or gills. Perhaps I'll build one for my first 3 weight....
I'd love to hear thoughts from those who have built any of their blanks.
