    Default Just When Ya' Thought............

    Like the article in the New York Times, recently, that stated "The brand of the shoe, thrown recently at President Bush during his speech, has had triple the demand for sales, as a result of that incident"............

    The following should do wonders for the SPAM market, as well as make those like Joey Doughey, Fudge Boy and others, jump for joy!?!

    (Quoted text);
    President-elect Barack Obama is spending the Christmas holiday Hawaii ? relaxing in the sun, playing golf and eating Spam.

    On Sunday afternoon, while playing golf with friends at Oahu's Olomana Golf Links, Obama, 47, who grew up on the island, stopped at a snack bar and bought two hot dogs, soft drinks and two orders of a local luncheon specialty called spam musubi ? Spam and a fried egg on a bed of rice, held together with a strip of dried seaweed, according to reporters covering his trip.

    It is available here in Poulsbo at our Norwegian food store. A couple of ways actually. Heard it caught on over there after the war. Became a staple food of the islands.

    Spam is popular in Hawaii and in Japan. Apparently tastes like whale.

    My friend I am so glad to see you back! I mean that too.

    Watch out because some of those OHIO ISLAND NATION BOYS will be hot on your heels now! Don't worry, I have got your back. Grew up just a few miles on the Pa side of the Buckeye line so I now how to deal with those guys from OHO. No need to worry about ohiofly but the other two you got to watch. ohiofly is the only one rowing his boat with both oars in the water. Those other guys are at least two slices short of a full can of SPAM!

    Now, time to go have one of those nice Hawaiian spam sammiches.

    Those smileys are for Doug because he just loves bouncy smileys, hee, hee!

    And I bet everything in the report was .................extremely cheerful! Unlike the coverge they gave President Bush for the past 8 years.
    They'd have painted that "delicasy" some red-neck, artery-clogging, backwoods country crap.........................if it were Bush eating it.
    Funny how their point of view on things has changed.

    They smear poi on it and cover it with pineapple to change the taste. Jim

    Why would anyone want to cover it in pineapple or anything else to change the taste. Taste great right out of the can just the way it is. We eat so much of it around here I wish they would put a deposit on the cans.

    When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.
