Thanks to all of you who took the time to remember my #74.
Had a good day, plowed 24 + inches of snow, Kenny, Liz & I processed a bunch of JV hens. Have a good supply of colors at this time. Is a bit cold but it is December.
Liz brought us a Pecan pie, my choice rather than a cake. We cut it into 6 pieces and is now down to 4. Sure is good. Liz is known for an excellent pecan pie.
We had 3 Jack Russell Terriers here in my place while we processed. Never a dull moment with one, and with 3!!!

Was a good day.

Dang Denny, sorry I missed this til now. Explains why all the forest fire equipment was headed over the pass. All those candles on a pecan pie would light up the area pretty good.

What fly tying applications would you suggest for Jack Russell hair? Personally, I've always thought it to be too wirey Also, how much is a hide going for these days? Are there different shades and how do you grade them? Inquiring minds (what's left of them) want to know. Okay, just kidding. Didn't think you were the Jack Russell type though.
