Default Anyone heard of Saber Hooks?

I saw these hooks advertised. I've never heard of them.

I picked some up at a fly show earlier this year. The hooks do not have a true bronze finish, more gold than anything.

Does anyone have an idea who makes them? Anyone know where they're made?

I'm intrigued with all of these no name hooks. I have Mustad hooks, I keep Daiichi and Orvis big eye dry fly hooks size 18 and down. I like TMC 200R hooks.

    The knock-offs are mind boggling.

I use Blackbird Sabretooth hooks for some steelhead flies.

They are a wide gape egg hook with an upturn eye and black nickle finish. Made in japan for redwing tackle of canada. www.redwingtackle.com

Not sure if these are what you are after I'll post some picks of the hooks and flies tonight when i get home.

I've got quite a few different sizes of Sabre hooks. Have been using some of them for a year now. I gotta say I don't know enough about hooks to be to critical but these seem fine to me. They come nice and sharp.
