    90 % from shore like you would fish for steelhead in a river. I cast downriver holding fish at a angle to make my fly swing in front of them and let the fly sit before stripping the fly gently. Fly hook size are in the 4 to 3/0, Theese fish are strong fish in a river system compared to a lake. even in the deep slow slow curent pools they are stronger than lake dwelling lakers.
