not sure how many folks swing flies here...heck...I'm not sure why I built this rod as I've never handled a spey rod...I just like the quiet time when I'm building...thoughts and critique is always welcome..)

One question. Is there some type of gold flecks in the wraps? I couldn't tell from the pictures, but I thought I could see something.
yep...its a lil' bling I add to my builds...its fine crafters gold dust...bout .50 at the dollar store...just kinda spices it up a tad..I add a small pinch to the thread epoxy so it is consistent on all wrapsOriginally Posted by dunfly

I'm glad to see that - I've often wondered if you couldn't add a little glitter of some kind to the epoxy. Very kewl.
