    I'm no expert on photography but to me there's something "fishy" [pun intended] about that photo.

    The fish looks way to close to the camera relative to the man and it looks like he's holding it with only by the arms....one strong dude!

    If I happen to be correct ...wonder what the motive would be???????????????

    WOW!!!

    My first reaction if I hooked into something like that would be like hooking into the bottom of a river... until the first run ... DANG that's a big fish.

    That is one massive fish. I wonder if a 10 wt would be heavy enough to handle something that size.........but it sure would be fun to try!!!!

    I've seen the photo questioned on a few other sites. Apparantly the source of the article is the California Dept of Fish and Game.

    Can't imagine why they would fake a photo other than to increase license sales.
