I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to keep the ribbing in place it keeps sliding to the rear of the hook.

    Hi,

I've had that problem on occasion ribbing tinsel over floss or thread bodies (mostly floss). The key is to wrap the rib really tight. Keep it under good tension as you wrap it. On a floss body, if you've made a few layers at least, you should be able to see the ribbing sink into the body a wee bit. Also, at the tie off point, do a full wrap of the rib then firm wraps over the ribbing material making sure you don't loose the tension of the wrap. Wire is easier to keep the tension on and bites into the body more easily.
