Default How long do you wait for an item from "for sale" section?

When you buy something off of a member here...What's your delivery time limit before your start to think something is fishy?(no pun intended).

the few times ive used the for sale forum, ive always notified the other person when it went in the mail and when it should arrive. that takes care of that issue. if youre having a problem with not knowing when the item will arrive, just keep in contact the person. If they get mad about you wanting to know when it will arrive, you should know right then that this is not a good person to do business with.

    Janus,

It depends on several different things; how far away is the sender, what method was used (USPS Priority, Parcel Post), (UPS, things disappear there at a rate of 17%), (FedEx).
Did the sender ship it immediately upon receiving payment? How long has it been so far?

I sent a rod across country (NJ to Washington) and it took 17 days USPS.

Have you contacted the seller? Have they replied? Did you check their Profile before entering an agreement?

If all your answers here are negative, I'd contact our Mom and Dad here and they'll lower the boom.

    Hope it works out....

Yes just a feeling I'm having last pm unanswered..been more than two weeks now. PM's sent from seller telling me it will be sent today or tommorrow about two weeks ago. Then sent a pm will be sent today or tomorrow about a week ago...I'll just wait it out. New member all posts involve mostly buying and selling. Seems like a nice enough guy could have it all wrong...I conduct transactions here much different when I am selling, and have never had this feeling before when I was buying. But again, we'll see how it turns out.

I wouldn't be happy with that at all.

Listen to Gringo, he is from convict stock, so he should know!!
But seriously I would try to contact the seller again and let him know you are not happy.
    All the best.

    Michael!! I am shocked!!!

In fact I do come from a very long line of thieves and murderers who got together to breed some of the greatest environmental pillagers and rapists in history, and caused the extinction of several species. I am very proud of my heritage.
