Also...I am gonna try to convince Mike into going to Chris Helm's while we are at Tony Packo's ...See ya there!

    Mike;
How'd I miss this post!!?? We'll be meeting over coffee in the Cabela's cafeteria around 11:00 am. Red shirts/sweaters with FAOL pin (if you got one). Of course I could find the "Irishman" anywhere as long no one else is over 5 foot 6 inches tall!!
Tony Paco's (The Original on the East Side) will be crowded on a Sat. night and if the "Cake Walkin' Jazz Band" is still playing there it'll be a hoot!!
You may have just become the "Desiginated Driver"!!
    Where is Chris Helm's located?
P.S. I only need tying supplies! No waders, reels, camping gear, etc. Save that stuff for a Spring Trip!!

I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!

Mike Murgida? Designated driver? Jack, are you NUTS?? 1) He ain't legal yet, & 2) How can you trust a kid who thinks you only need ONE fly? Initials are KH...........how did people EAT before it was discovered, invented, etc?

    EdD,
Was a great trip! In addition to Mike Murgida, Jack Hise, Kaboom1, & me, Bill DeSavage (spelling?) & his wife Jean were at Cabelas. We left there & headed to Chris Helms' shop, which is a tiers' dream! Chris & young Mike Murgida have a real "bond", & Mike walked away with a bunch of "bonus" tying stuff...a real nice move by Chris. Dinner at Tony Packos.
Mike Murgida also made a real nice logo for the Michigan Fish-In & we plan to explore the feasability of getting some shirts with the design.
We'll have another trip in the Spring, and of course, we'll post it here.
    Mike

    Hi All,
Just a short reply on the "Cabelas" get together. We(wife Jean & I) got up Sat.a.m.
and started the "what do you want to do today, I jokingly said there's going to be
a FAOL get together at "Cabelas" and she said lets go. I dont know what good deed I ever did to deserve her,"BUT,THANK YOU GOD"
Jean has MS,and has to use a cane, but was in such a rush to leave Kalamazoo she forgot it. When we arrived she told me to head for the cafe and she would be along shortly. I met Jack, Mike M., Brad, and Mike F. got a cup of coffee, and you would have thought we had known each other for years. If you get a chance to do or set up something similar,DO IT! Anyhoo we've been there a while and I'm starting to get concerened, No Jean, we decide to go spend some bucks, I finally find Jean she arrived at the cafe and didn't want to intrude on our "weighty" conversation and sat at another table, (in my blind spot) and worked on a quilt shes working on.
All in All a great time had by all.
Ohiotuber you got the name right.
I dont post hardly at all for a couple of reasons,#1 dont know a "little" yet.
#2 this took 30 min. to type.
