Thread: More furled leader...engaging loops

    Default More furled leader...engaging loops

    When one comes back to a peg and the loops around it you must "drop the material" through the loop[s] so they are engaged. This can be done two different ways...

    By wrapping around the peg..[as Kathy shows in her DVD]

    Or you can just engage just the loop[s] and pull directly on them.

    Do you think it makes any difference?

    Phil;
    You may see a little less slack to take up when you lift the legs off the pegs but other than that I don't see any difference.

    That's pretty much my thought too, Jack.

    I wanted to expand more on this after some replies but somehow got this in the wrong forum..."Fly Tying" so I've started another thread elsewhere.
