Welcome to FAOL. Nice looking flies. They should work real good. Thanks for sharing & I hope are able to share some more patterns with us.

Nice-looking flies. How deep do you usually fish them?
What do you reckon they imitate in the insect world or are they just so pretty that fish can't resist biting them?
Hi kypapaw,
Welcome to the best fly fishing BB on the Internet. We've got good people and good information all over the place. Please let us hear from you regularly.
I like your flies. It's easy to see why they are effective for both brim and crappies. I don't imagine that too many free-stone trout would turn them down either down either. Take care and don't be a stranger. 8T
I like that little yellow guy there, looks productive to me...
Welcome to the site. Great looking flies. I can see lots of Gills and Crappies in their future. I tie a lot of flies that do not imitate a bug, and most of them work just fine. I would say you can probably get a lot of Browns on those. John

I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.
Thanks guys.I have no ideal what these imitate in the insect world but the fish sure seem to like them.I usually fish these around brush piles or partially submerged trees.Shady spots are the key.Usually I can fish them as deep or shallow as I want to and still catch fish.I recently had one tied as a dropper behind a foam bug and caught a LMBass on the foam bug. What a surprise.
Seems I am always trying to tie something new or changing a pattern to try for myself. They're not always pretty and dont always work but you dont know if you dont try.
Like your flies and Hello from another Ky boy.
Where do you live in Central Ky? Nicholas County here on Lake Carnico.
