It's called Western Hospitality. I believe that all the guys I know from around here, knowing that Peter was from Australia and fishing for cutts for the first time, would have done the same thing. Might not do it for another local, especially one who has regular access to that water, but just about any visitor will get that kind of treatment from folks who are from around here. ( We do have more and more people here who are not from around here, and those people may not extend that kind of hospitality ?? )

For me, the reward was HUGE. I got to watch a fellow who is a really great caster and fisherman. And I got to smile at his frustration over those refusals, which I feel regularly myself, and then share in his joy catching that fish !! I can honestly say that the short time I spent with Peter the other day is one of the highlights of my "fishing year." Truly enjoyable, and truly memorable.

If I can get a copy of the picture that Simon took of Peter and his fish, I'll post it here.

Thanks much for the link. I just ran across the sexyloops site a couple days ago, and haven't really spent any time exploring it. Left to my own devices, I certainly wouldn't have found Peter's report and photo.
