The smallies are out
Well I decided to just say forget it and go fishing. Got out to my creek, water was cold, creek chubs ran in groups in the open, not like they normally do. Casted green woolly buggers and my new crayfish flies, caught 1 on the bugger, 3 on the crayfish.

Nice! Your set up looks like something I have; it wouldn't happen to be a 7'6" 3 weight Echo rod? The reel and line look identical to what I have but I bought the whole thing 2nd hand from someone from FAOL so don't know if it all came as a set originally. Anyway, I really like mine for fishing smaller rivers and streams here.

I could have posted the images like that, but they were big and didn't wanna make it slow for anyone that might have an old computer.
But no, the rod is a 8'6 5wt Redington crosswater, reel a hobbs creek large arbor, and the line is cabelas wf.

Glad you found them, water looks low and slow...like here until they let the dam loose.
