    Default Bad, bad, bad!!!!

After completing at least half a dozen rods for others (including the 2008 Ducks Unlimited rod!!), I weakened on Monday and ordered TWO tiger eye blanks FOR MYSELF!!!!!!! One is a 6' 4#, the other is a 7'6" 3#!!
They're supposed to arrive today, and I can hardly contain myself!!!

Bassman, my "research" shows anyone that carries them is within a buck or two of each other so pick your favorite or the one that carries the complementary components you want...haven't ordered one yet myself.

    Betty.

I have already asked but when they arrive would you share your opinion of the tips on the Tiger eyes?

I do trust the first opinion I was offered but the more the merrier.

I am sick of whippy tipped rods and my next rod will be stiffer in the tip section allowing for easier pick-up of size 8-2 flies for Smallies.

I can hardly wait for the Rod Porn, when Her Royal Majesty finishes one, or, both of her new rods!!
Obviously, they'll be beautifully built, but I'm very curious to see how "White Cheddar Cheeze-It" crumbs, are going to look, embedded under the gloss finish of the wraps!!?!
