    Default Fall Striper/Shad run up Potomac in DC?

    Does anyone know if stripers and/or shad run up the potomac in the fall as well as the spring?

    Your answer much appreciated

    Stripers yes. Shad NO.

    Gizzard or Mud Shad are non-migratory and are primarily food for other predators. I assume they may be found in the Potomac since they are found in other tribs.
    The Hickories and Americans are not around at this time of year.
