HELP - Fly line to backing connection

I just received a new AirFlo Tactical Trout Ridge Line with welded loops at either end (I know which is the reel end!).

My question is this - having never had welded loops before, do I attach it to my back using a perfection loop, and a loop-to-loop connection? If not, how should I do it? (I used to use a nail knot)

I use rear loops on shooting heads, for quick change outs, but on a full length line I think I would cut it off and use an albright knot.

One option is to tie a bimini twist loop into the backing end. You can then interlock with the loop on the fly line. The bimini twist loop is large enough that you can slip the whole reel through it to interlockt the loops.

Yes, the reason for the rear loop on shooting heads. However, on a shooting head, you have the rear loop out of the tip top before you shoot the line. That's a lot of loops to go through the guides on a full length line if a fish took you into your backing.
