Southern Council conclave - a Lowlander on the loose

Folks,

I will be attending, and tying at, the upcoming Southern Council conclave (6-8 Oct, Mtn Home, Ark). I know several FAOL visitors will also make this show, and I am looking forward to putting faces to the names appearing on my screen. Please stop by at my tying desk (I am tying Fri morning and Sat morning) and introduce yourself.

Perhaps we can have an FAOL luncheon or something?

I'm looking forward to seeing you tie Hans almost as much as getting the chance to take you on the North Fork of the White with Brian. Hopefully it'll be some good fishing.

I am going to the White tomorrow, Saturday, and spending the week. I will try to stop by and say hello. Will be very nice to meet you. I hated to have my vacation to New Orleans washed out but this has worked out great. Now i fish all week and go to the conclave the following weekend.

Hans, I won't be there due to distance and a business meeting. However, I want to thank you for your hospitality while I was in The Netherlands awhile back. I'm terribly sorry I didn't extend my appreciation before now. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you (through the fog of my long, overnight flight). Hopefully our paths will cross again somewhere. JGW
