Default How To Find The Serial Number??

I bought a sage XP last year and just realized that i dont have the serial number recorded in case it gets stolen. I searched the rod and can't find it... oh no. Could some one please help me find it.
    Thanks,

    Salmon Man -

Can't speak directly to the XP, but on the Sage Fli I recently bought the serial number is on the blank just above the grip and hook keeper. The serial on mine is two letters and five numbers, and is in a "script" style.

If you don't find something like that on your XP, or get something specific to the XP from someone else around here, you surely could get the information by emailing or phoning to Sage.

    SM,

The number is hand written, just above the grip. You have to turn the blank in the sun or a good light. It is somehow UNDER the surface. It IS really hard to see in some light.

Have fun with the XP. I love mine.

Holy cow, that is hard to see. I was unaware of the S/N. It's written in black on the dark green blank 180 degrees from the label. On mine, the characters are big enough that even when you do find where they are, you can't see the whole number without turning the rod back and forth. Looks like it might have even been written in dark pencil before any finish was put on.

    Who knew?

It is even harder to read on their newer rods. The XP s/n is just above grip.
