Thread: Backyard Wildlife

  1. #1

    Default Backyard Wildlife

Here are some pictures that I've taken of the wildlife around my house. All are taken from our house, with most of them taken from the rear patio doors leading to our deck. Enjoy and please share any of your backyard wildlife pictures.

I wondered why I was filling up the bird feeder every day:

A flock of turkeys that came for a visit one March day:

    A winter time Pheasant:

And one of my favorite shots, a Coyote that strolled through the yard on Memorial Day 2004:

    Default Great photos

In what part of the country are you located? Looks like it could be the upper midwest (Minnesota, Wisconsin or Michigan or maybe new england?)

Wow! I wish that's who I had for neighbors. You just don't see those things in this concrete jungle I live in.

    Thanks for sharing the pics.

    Kindest regards,

    Terry

Nice pics!! You gotta love living out in the country like that!!
Here is a pic of some Bluebird Nestlings in one of the Bluebird boxes I built earlier this year. They are all grown now and no longer there, but hopefully will stick around for a while longer. There are six in there and all are visible in the photo.

I know the poop is nasty, but I didn't bother building a bathroom in the house for them.....

We have these guys in the yard very regularly... A cow took the top off my favorite flowering crab a couple days ago...

These were in the backyard last summer, they just had help getting there.
