First Steelhead!

Howdy All,

I was going to wait to post this because I was planning on writing a "Reader's Cast", but I just have to brag a bit. I requested last Friday off from work a couple of weeks ago because I needed a little break. I didn't realize at the time that my 14 yr old son, Christian, was also going to have a day off from school. You can see where this is going....let's just say the boy dun' good. He hooked and landed a nice 25"+ steelhead.

I'll have to figure out the picture posting thing so you all can see. That fish made the loooonngg cold winter we had worth it!!

You bet I was proud of him. He hooked and lost one after about 10 seconds on, and then a bit later hooked the one that he landed.

You should have seen the look on his face as it started pulling. I think the title of the article will have to be his comment, "What Do I Do Now!?!?!?!"

That was way more exciting than any that I have caught.
