Default Fishing report from Northwest Indiana

Well the weather has not been good all week. A lot of wind and rain. I could not take it any more so went out in the rain today to fish a small pond near the house. Weather rain winds out of the south west gusting to 20MPH overcast and a cold 34 degrees.

Fished a sz 12 black dubbed soft hackle I tied myself ( been trying to tie for about 3 months )

Caught 6 Bluegills all to small to keep and missed 3 strikes all in an hour and a half. Not to bad for a short time on the water and catching fish on a fly I tied myself was way to cool.

The weather is going to improve by mid week and if the work schedule allows it I will be out again.

    Tight Lines
Remember we all live down stream

We have been trout fishing all winter long in the eastern part of Indiana--thousands of trout have been stocked again this month in our lakes, and the holdovers are getting bigger. The Northeastern Trout Association will also stock Browns again this month in the area streams and lakes. BILL
