Very nice pics! Is it bad that when I look at the bird, I wonder how I could use the feathers on a fly?
May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it. ~Irish Blessing~
Steve,
Nice photos! Do you know what species of Hawk that is?
Thanks,
Doug
Enjoying the joys of others and suffering with them- these are the best guides for man. A.E.
I had a hawk land on the front of my boat the other week trying to get the fish I just had caught. It scared the ^%#&&*% out of me.
I hope that was a telephoto lens for the 'gator shot. Otherwise, you're way to close in a kayak for my taste! Nice photos Steve!

Am I the only one thinking Gator on a fly rod!!!
I don't know the regulations, but someone must of accidentaly hooked one .
All kinds of stuff gets accidentaly caught; bats, turtles, frogs.
Must be one heck of a thrill, fishing for panfish, and hooking a beast!
Just rambeling on, it's that kind of a morning.
Have a great day,
chris
Say Steve, what do you do when you encounter one of those oversize reptiles.
Do you see them often from your Kayak?
