I put a feeder up for them. Haven't had any show up yet.

    Tim -

    That is awesome. Thanks.

Don't dare show that picture to my wife. She'll either want to move, or sit out back with a bowl of sugar water in hand until who knows when.

    Gotta love them little guys.

Many species migrate from South America to Canada every year.

We get them in clouds in SW Colorado every summer.

They are so darn cute I don't even consider for more than a minute or two how nice those feathers would look on a fly....(they are also VERY good for business...).

That is awesome! They are definitely brave birds. Nuthatches are like that also, but you have to work with them a little so they'll get used to you being around.

We had 14 of the little birds sitting on the feeder last night. I am going to put up another this weekend so they don't have to fight over it.

That is fantastic! I used to feed them in Calif and when I lived in NC they are remarkable birds! In NC they would come every year in the spring and stare in the living room window letting me know it was time to put the feeder out.
Cool Pic I have never seen them sit on someone like that.
    Thanks for the great shot.
