Default Good day at the pond

I had a pretty good day at the pond today. I invited these guys home for supper.

I also caught several bass and bluegills. The biggest bass was around 4 lbs.

    Steve -

If that is a GOOD day, I'd like to see photos of a GREAT day ?!

Don't do any stillwater fishing myself, but I could probably do some stillwater eating.

    Post Nice catch

Way to go, Steve. Those look like White Specks. We only have Black Specks here in FL. What fly did you get them on?

    That looks very good.
The ice has just gone of the ponds here.
    Next weekend is CE.
After that I think I may really be able to get out onthe water some.

    Robert,
They fell prey to a no name fly that I tied. It has lead dumb-bell eyes, chartreuse marabou tail, and chartreuse polar chenille body.

Good job Steve......I haven't been able to go the last 2 weeks and those "little darlins" are making my itch worse.

    Thanks for the pics.

    Thumbs up

    Hi biot, RW here

Long Time no see! Nice pics. Those crappies made me run right out and look at the 17-inch 3 pounder on the wall in my den. Luv those guys. I haven't found a real good place to catch crappies since I've moved to upstate New York, but I'm working on it. No better eating in my book...
