    Question Are these paints waterproof

I've been tying some foam patterns and I decided to try the prismacolor art markers for color. Does anyone know if these markers are waterproof, or should I clearcoat over the color? Thanks for any replies!

Thanks muchly. I was trying some new foam patterns that recommended only coating half the fly with top coat. I didn't want to end up with a half naked fly! Thanks again.

I use them all the time. They won't fade, and you can do some interesting things with them. These are coated with clear flexible epoxy/varnish but that's how I've always finished my poppers and sliders.

I think that "both" might be the answer. Putting a clear coat in gloss, semi-gloss, or matte is a good way to protect the color from wear.
