...on my favorite still waters. Enjoy:
Well it felt good to get out there on a short hike. Should have taken my gear because the lake was iced out where the creek comes in. Could have done some serious nymphing there.

Wasn't there enough ice to fish on the lake? I used to ice fish there a lot.
Ice is too thin or I would be on it. Only about 2-3 inches thick and rotting around the edges. Normally at this time of the season we are out there ice fishing but we have had too much warm weather this year and just enough cold weather to keep things frozen.
Eric,
You have a very nice trailer home. It looks freshly painted.
Trout don't speak Latin.
I hate ice
Remember we all live down stream
Thank God I live in South Carolina. I haven't seen a lake iced over like that in over 40 years. Back in my old New England days, we use to have to cut through four feet of ice around the hockey rinks to keep them from cracking. Don't miss that at all. 8T
Was in the Army for three years with my C.O.N.U.S. base in the south. Loved the people, could not stand the environment. I can tolerate the heat very well and the cold is livable but I absolutely must have the fall nip with colors and see mother nature return to life in the spring. No thanks, I'll stay in the north.
That is not my trailer. I live in a house. Specifically this house:
Betty,
It is not a Starbucks but a good guess It is Santa's Work Shop on our Christmas walk.
Glad you all enjoy the pictures. Thanks for the wonderful comments!
