Default Down with the Dams, Up with the Salmon!

Here's an update on what's going on with the proposed removal of several dams in Southern Oregon and Northern California.

    Default dams

the Brownsville Dam on the Calapooia River in ORegon was removed the end of last August. I go up there, stand on the high bank watching the river redistribute a hundred years of backed up gravel. I am smiling the whole while.

    Default Two Sides

Like a coin, this issue has two sides. All is not peaches and cream - depending on which side of the coin you look at. Since these dives into pseudo politics a taboo on FAOL I will say no more.
